Sporting supporters raise charity funds

Hundreds of pounds have been raised for The Euan MacDonald Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research by sporting supporters.f

The girls hockey team at George Watson's organised a parents versus pupils charity game, raising more than 600.

Another supporter, Gillian Armstrong, raised almost 350 by completing a 10K race and a further 245 by organising a corporate raffle. The centre is named after motor neurone disease sufferer Euan MacDonald, who with his father, raised 1 million to help establish it.
