Sport Relief T-shirt is up and running

the Edinburgh Sport Relief Mile has received a boost with the launch of the campaign’s official T-shirt.

The Evening News is helping to distribute £50,000 from the Sport Relief Community Cash fund, with grants of £500 to £1000 available to small community organisations in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

The official 2012 Sport Relief T-shirt can be personalised by adding letters and numbers, and bought from Sportsdirect.com stores and websites.

TV’s Amy Childs, who is backing the campaign, said: “Like me you don’t need to be sporty to get involved with Sport Relief. Something as simple as buying an official Sport Relief T-shirt from Sportsdirect.com will help transform lives.”

To apply for a grant, log on to www.scottishcf.org/srcommunitycash. The deadline for applications in March 16. The Edinburgh run takes place on March 25 – enter at www.sportrelief.com.
