Spend it like Peckham's

Peckham's in Stockbridge is to be sold for £500,000 by the upmarket delicatessen chain.

The fine wine and food store is the most valuable of three sites in Scotland that are up for sale.

Peckham's is aiming to buy bigger retail sites and has decided to sell off some of its smaller stores.

Tony Johnston, managing director of Peckham's Group, said: "It is with sadness that we have decided to sell three of our shops, but these are now better suited to hands-on operators or investors looking for prime property in affluent areas."
