Spaces boost for car club

NEW parking spaces are to be allocated across the city for the Capital's largest car-sharing scheme.

City Car Club, which is backed by the council, will receive new spaces in Hermitage Place, Blenheim Place, Chalmers Street, Colinton Road, Gayfield Square, Grosvenor Street, Morrison Crescent and West Savile Terrace.

The city council dismissed an objection to the additional car club spot on Hermitage Place from a resident.
