Space capsule lands safely in Kazakhstan

A CAPSULE carrying two Russian cosmonauts and an American astronaut from the International Space Station landed safely in Kazakhstan yesterday.

Alexander Skvortsov, Tracey Caldwell Dyson, right, and Mikhail Korniyenko spent nearly six months aboard the satellite. They were to have returned on Friday, but the descent was aborted after latches on a docking port holding the spacecraft to the orbiting station failed to open.
