Spa students looking good

A BEAUTY school in Edinburgh is celebrating 90 per cent of its students going on straight into work - thought to be the highest success rate of any further education establishment in Scotland.

Brian Hunter, owner of the The Mary Reid International Spay Academy on North Castle Street, said: "There is no doubt that the growth of the spa sector has made it easier for spa students to find employment.

"I think too many courses teach 'generic' skills that do not meet an employer's needs."
