Somewhere over the rainbow lies Jenny Douglas's road to West End glory

JENNY Douglas from Edinburgh, was today joined by Tasheka Coe, left, and Lauren Samuels in the final 20 contestants bidding to win the lead role of Dorothy in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical, The Wizard of Oz.

Miss Douglas, 18, from the West End of the Capital, will now be hoping to make it through to the final round of the BBC show Over the Rainbow.

Keith Jack, the star of Lloyd Webber's previous BBC show Any Dream Will Do, said she would "make Scotland proud". Dalkeith-born Jack said:

"I wish her the best of luck. She should get through to the top ten."
