Somali pirates seize German freight ship

Somali pirates seized a German freight ship off the coast of Kenya yesterday. The pirates took control of the Beluga Fortune about 1,200 miles east of Mombasa, Keny.

On Saturday, pirates seized a tanker 105 miles off the coast of Kenya in the Somali Basin, said officials in Singapore, where the ship, the MV York, with 17 crew, is registered.
