Soldiers win theatre gong

Wounded service personnel have picked up a prestigious annual theatre award given to an outstanding play carrying a human rights message.

The Two Worlds of Charlie F was presented with Amnesty International’s Freedom of Expression Theatre Award.

Director Stephen Rayne said: “This is a wonderful honour and a tribute to all who worked on the project, but above all to the soldiers and their families who were willing to share their stories with us.”
