SNP offices hit by burglars

BURGLARS raided the SNP's headquarters in Edinburgh – just hours before the General Election was announced.

Staff arriving at the Holyrood offices yesterday morning found the main door had been smashed and laptops and cash stolen.

A spokeswoman for the SNP said: "This has had very little effect and we will not be letting it distract us from the election."
