The airport recorded a near four per cent fall in passengers in November, compared with the same month last year.

Airport group BAA today said bad weather hit passenger numbers by 130,000 across all its UK airports as it battled the "worst snow for decades". Passenger numbers fell at Stansted, Southampton, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen.
