Smoking may alter unborn baby's DNA

Women who smoke during pregnancy could alter their baby's DNA, making them more prone to asthma, new research has suggested.

Experts already know that children are more vulnerable to asthma and wheezing if their mother smoked. Now a new study from America suggests it could be because genes are altered before a baby is born.
