Sky's the limit for fundraiser

A BUSINESSWOMAN is to jump out of a plane to raise funds in memory of her husband and a close friend who both died of cancer.

Anne Ferguson, a director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, has pledged to raise 20,000 as part of the Booby Birds campaign.

She will join other fundraisers for the tandem skydive in May. All funds raised will go to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Mrs Ferguson, who splits her time between Edinburgh and London, said: "I lost a dear friend of mine to breast cancer who was far too young to suffer with this disease. I also lost my husband to cancer, so understand the effect it has on the whole family. I'm incredibly apprehensive, but looking forward to the challenge."
