Skye woman charged with husband’s murder
A 59-year-old woman has been accused of killing her husband at their home on the Isle of Skye.
Sandra Elizabeth Bruce made no plea or declaration when she appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on a charge of murdering 64-year-old husband Norman Bruce.
She was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
Police were called to a house in Upper Breakish on Sunday afternoon following the death of Mr Bruce.
