Size matters with curvier M&S model

A LAW student has been selected to front an advertising campaign for Marks and Spencer's new range of lingerie for the bustier woman.

Laura Zielinski, a 20-year-old Sunderland University undergraduate, appeared at a photocall yesterday after winning a public vote in a competition held by the store.

She has been signed to Leni's Model Management, which has represented fellow M&S girls Noemie Lenoir and Natalie Suliman in the past.

Ms Zielinski - who is 5ft 9in, a size ten and has a 32E chest - will model the store's DD+ lingerie range, and is due to shoot her first campaign next month. Her image will appear on in-store adverts nationwide.

"I couldn't believe it when I got the phone call," she said. "I thought they were going to say 'well done but not this time' but they said 'congratulations, you have won'.

"I'm hoping this will be my big break. M&S is an amazing brand to represent. It celebrates real women with real curves like mine."

Frances Russell, lingerie trading director at M&S, said: "She's everything we look for in a girl, an amazing body and a great personality. We're looking forward to working with her."
