Six to appear in court after £80,000 drug seizure

SIX people to appear in court following the seizure of drugs with a street value of almost £80,000.

Police recovered a “large quantity” of drugs in Perth and Angus over the weekend.

The class A and class B drugs have an estimated street value of £77,000, the force said.

Cash totalling £26,000 was also seized as part of the operation.

Police said six people would appear at Perth Sheriff Court today.
