Six British soldiers arrested after brawl

SIX British soldiers have been questioned by police after reports of a bar brawl in Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands.

The servicemen were arrested following clashes in the resort on Saturday. Sources said the arrested servicemen were from the Welsh Guards and had been on a routine training exercise.

Five of the men have appeared in court.
