Site offers addict aid

A WEBSITE has been launched to help drug addicts and their families in Edinburgh.

The Edinburgh Alcohol and Drug Partnership introduced the page to inform locals of any news updates and to offer help and advice on what services are available.

Nick Smith, joint programme manager, said: "The misuse of drugs and alcohol can cause grave harm to individuals, families and communities.

"It is important that people know where to go for help and support as well as being able to make informed decisions.

"This website will give us the facts as well as letting people know what we are doing to address it."
