Sisters plan skydive in memory of their mother

TWO sisters are planning to skydive from 10,000 feet in memory of their late mother.

Gemma Webster, 28, from Bathgate, and sister Jane, 32, will complete the challenge at Fife Airfield on March 26 to raise funds for Brain Tumour UK.

Their mother, Penny, died from a brain tumour eight months ago at the age of 50.

Gemma, a nurse at St John's Hospital, said: "I'm pretty nervous, but we are doing it for a really good cause."

The sisters, who will be joined by four friends for the challenge, hope to raise around 2,400 for the charity.

The family has already raised 5,734 through a number of fundraisers.
