Sinitta looking forward to adopted child No 3

Simon Cowell's friend Sinitta has revealed she hopes to adopt a third child.

The former chart star and X Factor adviser wants to offer a home to another baby who has been born to the mother of the two children she has already adopted.

In a magazine interview Sinitta - who has a daughter Magdalena, four and son Zac, three - says she learned earlier this year that the mother was expecting once more. The woman had said she would be unable to keep the child.

"From that moment on, rightly or wrongly, I started to look on this baby as mine," Sinitta said. She is talking to social services staff but says she wants to keep details of the child private to protect the family.

"I even went rushing out to buy baby clothes," Sinitta said. "Bizarrely, for over a year my mother had been telling me that she kept picturing me cradling a baby, but I brushed it aside. Then I started having dreams about it, too. When I was told about this baby, it all made sense."

At the time she began the previous adoption she was married to Andy Willner but they divorced in August and she is now a single mother.

She said: "Even though I am a lone parent, I'm not alone. I have a terrific network of friends and my mother has said that she will help and support me every step of the way."

The American-born actress and singer has lived in the UK for most of her career. She is the daughter of Canadian actress and singer Miquel Brown
