Singer hits out at theatre's closure

FRANZ Ferdinand singer Alex Kapranos has criticised Strathclyde University's plans to close its theatre and art gallery.

The Scots singer, who studied theology at the university, said shutting the Ramshorn Theatre and Collins Gallery would be a loss for the city.
