Silver surfers take initiative

Patricia Stewart, 76, and Jack Craig, 70, were among the silver surfers who descended on the St James Centre Post Office branch recently to get their first taste of the internet, as part of the Get Online Week initiative.

The Post Office teamed up with BBC Learning in Scotland, to support the BBC's First Click campaign - part of the Get Online Week - which aimed to encourage the estimated 9.2 million people in the Uk who have never used the internet to take the first steps to get online.
