Sick children were lucky, lucky, lucky to meet Kylie after show

A GROUP of sick kids got an extra special treat at Kylie Minogue's Glasgow concert when they were invited to meet her.

Teenager Rachel Cameron, who suffers from acute lymphoblastic leukemia, said she was delighted to meet the star. The 15-year-old from Armadale, said: "I wasn't feeling very good today. I might be feeling a bit better after the gig though, I'm a big fan and Can't Get You Out Of My Head is my favourite song."

And Edinburgh girl Shannon Mackenzie presented Kylie with a bunny she'd made from a facecloth as well as a pair of earrings.

The teenager said: "Kylie likes arts and crafts as well and she has a big say on what was put into the show to make it more spectacular.

"She was dancing and spent five minutes with each of us."

The singer invited the kids backstage at the SECC after charity fundraiser Les Hoey got in touch.

Kylie is on her first big tour for three years after recovering from breast cancer.
