Show running on empty

ARTIST Jonathan Lynch was putting the finishing touches to his first solo show in Scotland, ahead of its opening in Edinburgh on Friday.

The exhibition, entitled Legacy: Jonathan Lynch, includes two series of his work.

The first is An Essay of Emptiness, a series of photographs that investigates the empty interiors of historical houses and heritage buildings, and the second is Absence, a series of found and anonymous photographs, (pictured) exploring the complexity of human relationships.

Jonathan graduated from Northumbria University in 2009 with first class honours. His works "interrogate psychologies and memories in an attempt to create an understanding of reality, our relationship to the world, and expose the vulnerability of humanity."

The show runs at the Corn Exchange Gallery, on Constitution Street, Leith, until 15 July.
