Show mines a rich seam

Scottish coalminers’ songs and stories will be featured in a show at the Scottish Mining Museum.

Bonnie Collier Lads and Lassies charts the life and mining songs of Annie Cosgrove and is a celebration of the culture and history of Newtongrange.

Tickets for the show, which will be staged on Friday, March 9 from 7.30pm, are on sale at the Newtongrange museum.
