Shed sparks blaze drama

TWO people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out near a horticultural centre in East Lothian.

The casualties, aged 75 and 45, were treated at the scene after a blaze ignited in a large shed used to store farm equipment at Redhouse Market Gardens in Longniddry.

Fire crews used jets and breathing kits to extinguish the blaze which erupted at around 1.40pm yesterday.

It is not yet known what sparked the fire.
