Shed security in spotlight

Lothian and Borders Police are holding crime prevention workshops which will focus on keeping garden sheds secure.

This is in response to the high number of reported break-ins and thefts in the west of the city. Local officers were set to speak to people at the Scotmid stores in Ratho Station and Kirkliston this afternoon.

The workshops will aim to give practical information regarding shed security as well as offering police-approved key fob shed alarms at a discounted 10.
