Shark gives readers a fin time at sea

A BASKING shark spotted around eight miles from the East Lothian coast was caught on camera by Evening News readers Graeme Carlyle and John Tait when they were out on their boat.

Graeme, who described the incident as a “once in a lifetime experience”, said the shark circled their 16-foot vessel for “at least an hour” and brushed the boat three or four times.
