Shampoo in disease link

CHEMICALS in a range of products, including shampoo and computers, could harm the lungs, an Edinburgh University study has found.

Research found that tiny particles could pose a risk, especially to those who handle them.

Nano particles probably do not affect the lungs once immersed in the products, but are more dangerous raw, it found. Professor Ken Donaldson said: "This study shows that different types of nano particles may produce different diseases."
