Shakespeare theft case jury sworn in

A JURY has been sworn in in the case of an antiques dealer who has been accused of stealing a priceless first edition of the works of Shakespeare.

Raymond Scott, 53, spoke only to give his name during the hearing at Newcastle Crown Court. The jury of seven women and five men was not told what the case was about and no charges were read out in court.
