Sex strategy targets regret

REDUCING feelings of "regret" after sex is one of the focal points of a sexual health plan to be implemented across the Lothians.

The 2011-16 Lothian Sexual Health and HIV Strategy has been created after meetings involving more than 100 people.

As well as reducing rates of HIV, health chiefs want to improve detection and help those who already have the disease. The health board also wants to reduce feelings of "regret and coercion" after a sexual encounter.
