Sex attack: man in court

A MAN was due in court today after a woman was attacked near a public footpath.

The alleged sexual assault took place in bushes by the path between Cedarbank and Cloverbank in Ladywell, Livingston, at 5.15pm on Wednesday.

A 26-year-old man was detained yesterday and was set to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court charged in connection with the attack.
