Seven US troops killed by bombs

Seven American service personnel were killed yesterday in two roadside bomb attacks in southern Afghanistan, Nato said.

Eyewitnesses in Kandahar said a Humvee hit a roadside bomb in the afternoon. Bodies were seen being removed from the vehicle, which was set on fire by the blast.
