Set sail for coast hike

AVID hikers are being invited to sign up for a ten-mile circular walk through the fields and open farmland of East Lothian next month.

The trek follows the route of the old Gullane railway line to the coast and will see walkers cover the distance from Drem.

At Aberlady participants will turn inland before returning to the starting point.

All hikes are charged at 4 per person, and full details will be provided on booking.

The Drem to Gullane walk is being held on Sunday, August 14, from 10am and run until 3pm, and organisers have advised that strong boots should be worn and that walkers dress for the weather.
