Sentence delayed on killer mother

THE sentencing of a woman who drowned her daughter in a burn was postponed yesterday.

Rachel Cowley, 43, who admitted culpable homicide, has been held in a psychiatric unit since she killed Isabelle, four, in February.

Yesterday, she refused to leave the clinic to attend the High Court in Edinburgh.
