See novelist behind the Invisible Fiends

Author Barry Hutchison will appear at Waterstone's bookshop at the West End on May 16.

The children's writer, who won this year's Royal Mail Book Award, will talk about his Invisible Fiends series, why he reads, why he writes, and why everyone should remember their childhood friends - imaginary or otherwise.

His first book in the Invisible Fiends series, Mr Mumbles, was released in February last year, followed by The Crowmaster and Raggy Maggie, with another three instalments still to come. The event begins at 10.30am.
