Security guard stabbed in robbery

POLICE are investigating after a security guard was seriously injured and robbed in Auchinleck, Ayrshire.

The 52-year-old Group 4 Security guard suffered stab wounds as he was assaulted by two men at a Tesco store. The culprits then made off with a five-figure sum of cash. Their victim is "stable" in hospital.
