Search resumes on Ben Nevis for missing hillwalker

Searches are being carried out on Ben Nevis for a hillwalker who has been missing for two days.

The alarm was raised when 23-year-old Kyle Knox, 23, failed to return to his accommodation in Fort William.

He was last sighted at around 10am on Monday and had been planning to climb the UK’s highest mountain.

A Police Scotland spokesman said searches of the area were carried out last night and resumed this morning.

Mr Knox is described as 5ft 10in, of slim build with dark hair. Mr Knox was last seen wearing dark waterproof trousers, walking boots and a jacket with red flashes on it.

Anyone with information on Mr Knox’s whereabouts is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101.
