Search is on for star Scots

THE search is on for young people in the Capital who have worked to support and promote Scotland's heritage.

Historic Scotland is asking communities to nominate candidates for this year's Young Scot Awards.

Covering a wide range of categories, from the environment to democracy, through to arts and sport, the awards recognise young people who have made a real difference and are an inspiration to Scotland and its people.
