Sealife centre makes splash

Deep Sea World in North Queensferry has been shortlisted for Wildlife Attraction of the Year by satellite TV channel Eden.

The aquarium is one of 20 attractions to be nominated for the award alongside Belfast Zoo, West Midlands Safari Park and Paignton Zoo.

Deep Sea World's Aisling Thornton said: "Obviously we're delighted to have been shortlisted and are hoping that as many people as possible decide to vote for us. The final decision won't be until the autumn so there's still plenty of time for people to vote online!"
