Sculpture to mark bravery of the forces

ALEX Neil, the housing and Communities Minister, visited Scotland's oldest veterans charity in the Capital yesterday to help commemorate its 100 years of support.

Since 1910 the Scottish Veterans Residences has helped more than 60,000 Scottish veterans.

The minister unveiled a bronze sculpture to pay tribute to the bravery of Scotland's forces and the vital work of Scottish veterans organisations.
