Scouting for pet care tips

SCOUT groups are being given animal care tips from an Edinburgh pet shop to help them achieve their badges.

Delivering the course is the Pets at Home store, whose trained advisers will teach the youngsters how to care for their animals responsibly.

To obtain their Animal Friend Badge, Beaver Scouts will learn how to care for small animals, fish or insects, while Cub Scouts will find out about different types of freshwater, sea water or tropical fish.
