Scottish female fugitive prisoner recaptured
A WOMAN who absconded from prison has been found by police.
A hunt was launched for 31-year-old Amy Stewart when she failed to return to Cornton Vale jail near Stirling on Sunday.
She was arrested in the Rutherglen area of Glasgow at around 4.30pm today, Police Scotland confirmed.
Stewart was in the process being returned to the prison this evening, officers said.
