Scottish Ballet to unveil "love seat"

IT'S one of the greatest love stories of all time, but could Edinburgh's romantic couples go one better than Romeo and Juliet?

At least that's what Scottish Ballet is hoping to find out when it unveils its "love seat" at the St James Centre tomorrow.

Lovers of all ages are being encouraged to take a seat and video a special love message.

Videos will then be posted on Scottish Ballet's website where visitors can vote for their favourite.

And unlike Shakespeare's unfortunate "star-crossed" lovers, there is a happy ending for the winners – a VIP trip to see Scottish Ballet perform Romeo and Juliet, dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel.

The "love seat" will be at the St James Centre courtyard from 11am-4pm.
