Scotland's weather: Ski stunt takes off

A SKIER who launched himself down Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh has revealed that he has had a call about potential sponsorship for the British Children's Ski Team because of the success of a YouTube video showing him performing the terrifying stunt.

The mystery skier, below, has been revealed as Gareth Trayner, 30, head coach of the team, who was filmed by James MacDougall and his exploits broadcast on the popular video-sharing website.

Mr Trayner said: "I received a call about sponsorship after all of the coverage the video has had. It's great that something like this could happen."
