Scotland’s ‘oldest bride and groom’ get married
A COUPLE who are thought to be the oldest bride and groom in Scotland have got married, after being together for more than 30 years.
87-year-old Bill Burnett and 90-year-old Jane Pollock were married at Edinburgh’s South Leith Parish Church on Thursday.
Mr Burnett said: “I couldn’t live without her. She’s beautiful and very understanding, she’s just good-hearted and she’s everything I want.”
