Scotland to host nature summit

Scotland is to host a major conference on the challenge of protecting nature next week.

More than 100 delegates from across Europe will meet in Dunblane to discuss topics including climate change and the effects of the financial crisis.

The conference is being hosted by Scottish Natural Heritage and Eurosite, a network of bodies involved in managing nature.
