Scotland News Live: National team prepare for Wednesday's Euro 2024 game

A 29-year-old man has been sentenced to a minimum of 22 years behind bars for the murder of former Fettes College biology teacher Peter Coshan in 2022.

Paul McNaughton admitted luring the 75-year-old to a flat in Leith using a fake profile on a gay dating app before killing him.

McNaughton, along with his flatmate 65-year-old Paul Black, then hid the body for days before dumping it near a layby in Northumberland.

How a new scheme could reverse plummeting school attendance rates and rising pupil anxiety across Scotland

“A pilot project aimed at helping young Scots deal with mental health pressures has experienced rocketing demand.

“The Haven, a “wellbeing resilience” initiative for young people in the town of Tranent in East Lothian, opened in September last year. Since then, attendance has steadily increased, rising to almost 300 in March alone.”

'Embarrassing' England fan chant at Euros prompts Tartan Army comparison as trouble flares in Gelsenkirchen

“Musician and activist Billy Bragg has shared a video of England supporters signing the ‘10 German bombers’ song ahead of their opening match at Euro 2024 and insisted Scotland fans would not be heard doing the same.

Good morning! What a wonderful Monday this is!

The sun is shining, and....well that’s about it as it’s Monday morning, and it’s tough finding too many inspirational things to say.

On the plus side - more football this week. And tons of it!!

Scotland’s next game is against Switzerland and will be kicking off (in UK time) at 8 pm on Wednesday.

We would love to hear people’s predictions.

Friday night may have been heavy going but we believe Scotland will rally and rebound.

Always believe!
