Scientists mad for Dunbar as science festival debuts

SCIENTISTS from across the East of Scotland will meet in Dunbar this Sunday for the town's inaugural Science Festival.

The East Lothian town will play host to a string of boffins from Glasgow Science Centre, Our Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh International Science Festival and Edinburgh University among others as part of National Science and Engineering Week.

The event is being held in the large hall at Belhaven Fruit Farm, near Thistlycross, and funded by grants from Scottish Government, EDF Energy (Torness), Community Windpower and Dunbar Community Council. The 1 entry offers unlimited access to workshops and talks.
