School wins new £30k playground

AN EDINBURGH school has won a national competition to receive a brand new playground worth up to £30,000.

Murrayburn Primary School beat competition from more than 1,200 schools. Around 20,000 people voted in the competition, but Murrayburn received the highest number of votes - 6,663 - to take top spot as winners of Ronseal's Playground Project.
